There’s a lot to love about George Miller’s Best Picture nominated action adventure Mad Max: Fury Road. Every facet of the film is impressive, but undoubtedly one of the coolest elements of the film are the post-apocalyptic vehicles that all the characters right around in. There are classic hot rods turned into fast-moving tanks, semi-trucks turned into death machines in eighteen wheels, and that vehicle with the Doof Warrior that is essentially a mobile metal concert from a Dr. Seuss nightmare.
But what if a bunch of other famous vehicles from film and television got a Mad Max makeover? What would cars like the DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future, the Mystery Machine from Scooby-Doo or even the staircase truck from Arrested Development look like if they were modified to look like vehicles from the Wasteland? Info•Rama was founded in 2014 by artists Kevin Tong and Tom Whalen, who set out to create beautiful infographics that were full of meticulously researched information while also doubling as gorgeous pieces of art. Since both Tong and Whalen regularly collaborate with Mondo, the purveyors of the internet’s favorite pop culture posters and merchandise, a team-up was inevitable. Now, Info•Rama is the subject of the latest Mondo Gallery show in Austin, Texas, with Tong, Whalen, and Matt Taylor contributing pieces that break down some of your favorite movies, television shows, and comic book characters while also looking nothing short of gorgeous.

In case you haven’t heard, this year marks the 50th anniversary of the debut of Star Trek: The Original Series, the sci-fi television show that paved the way for countless more on the small screen. Over five decades, the sci-fi series has rounded up an impressive assembly of fans, and one of them decided to make an incredible poster featuring over 120 characters, aliens, locations and ships. Now you can get your hands on it.
Artist Dusty Abell, who has worked as a character designer on everything from Batman: Under the Red Hood to The Mike Tyson Mysteries, is a huge Trekkie, and he created this details poster as a labor of love. But CBS stumbled upon it and asked him to recolor it for the Star Trek 50 for 50 art exhibition. The result is a poster that is also a great test of Star Trek trivia that you can frame for your wall.

Mondo, the ever-popular source of those lovely posters and other pieces of pop culture memorabilia that sell out so fast, is no stranger to King Kong. Over the years, they have released a few posters commemorating this 1933 masterpiece and it’s a testament to the film’s legacy that they can announce two more without feeling like they’re repeating themselves. These new prints, both the work of artist Jonathan Buron, depict both halves of the film, with one showcasing Kong in his natural habitat the other showing him off on the New York City skyline.
