Responsive Design Item Listing Templates

Use these templates to provide a cleaner, more structured look to your item listings. Each template contains pre-formatted HTML with comments instructing you where to put your descriptive information about your item. A well structured, properly formatted description can make it easier for buyers to find the information they're looking for in your listing.

Below you can download the following templates:

Here's how to use the templates:
  1. Right click the thumbnail image of the template you want to download. (Mac users: Press the Control (ctrl) key and click on the image.) Some browsers may automatically download the file upon click.
  2. When the dialog box appears asking if you want to open the file or save it to disk choose to save it to disk.
  3. Once you've saved the file right-click it and choose to open the file in your favorite text editor such as Notepad or Wordpad. A good, free program that will help you see code vs. text better is Notepad++ (for Windows.) Unlike Notepad or WordPad, the code is in color (which you can ignore) and the text you will replace is in black.
NOTE:Do not use Microsoft Word for this. Microsoft Word adds unnecessary HTML to files and it will cluttered and brake your item listing.
  4. Fill in the item listing according to the comments in the listing templates.
  5. Save the file.
  6. Preview the item listing by right-clicking the file and choosing to open it in your favorite web browser.
  7. If you like what you see you can simply copy the contents of the item template into the description of your item listing on GunBroker.com.

NOTE: These are HTML templates which will require editing. These HTML templates are for you to use, but GunBroker.com does NOT offer any support for them. Any modification to these templates could change how they appear in different browsers. Please familiarize yourself with HTML and / or CSS styles if you perform major changes to these templates. See our FAQ on Using HTML in Listings for additional information on HTML.
