Okay, I've been to a bunch of movie theaters. I love the Drafthouse but holy crap is this theater high end! Oh, my God! Puffy leather recliners. A tray that pivots over your lap. Holy crap! $9 for a matinee is a little steep but for real it's worth it. Totally impressed. Doesn't have the character of the Drafthouse. But, who cares? I was watching a movie on a giant screen with state of the art sound in a recliner! Worth the drive just to see what a really high end movie experience can be. Go now!!!! They have good coffee!

The food is AWESOME and the staff is even AWESOMER. I don't go in much but every time I've been with friends it's been a blast. Highly recommend going to this place for a great 6th street experience

I'm in a band called the Boleys, we played there recently, and this is like one of the coolest venues around, sound was great, art was great, this venue is awesome! I hope they'll have us back!:)

Today was my first visit and I absolutely loved it. Fell in love with the kitties and was so impressed with the quality of their coats (shiny, not a single bit of fur out of place, no obvious shedding) and especially with the way they clearly enjoyed the environment so thoughtfully provided for them. It is cat heaven, yet they still found time to come and be social with us. Plenty of inspiration is here for anyone who would like to make a more feline-centric living space for them to share with their existing cats and maybe even take them home a new friend as all the residents came from the Humane Society and are available to be adopted at no additional cost from what they would charge. Food and coffee were great (and I am neither a vegan nor a vegetarian but still loved it) and the space was as clean and inviting as any restaurant I have ever visited. Your nose would never know there was a cat or litter box present. I will be back often and am dying to show it to my friends, especially the few who are not already cat owners. What a breath of fresh air and a much needed avenue to help our homeless kitties find good homes. Thank you BCC.

Kudos to JW Marriott, the staff is what makes this place. My husband was at a conference here and I was tagging along with our 2 kids (2 and 5). The first night my son had a massive nosebleed ALL over the bed, soaked through to the mattress pad. I called the front desk to let housekeeping know that we would need all new everything. They were so thoughtful and kept asking me if my son was ok. I took all the bedding off before hand and left the housekeeping staff an apologetic note. We left that morning and when we returned that evening on our bed were 2 stuffed Austin bats, with little Keep Austin Weird shirts on for the kids. It is so rare these days that someone goes out of their way for another and this was such a random unexpected act of kindness on the staffs part. The valet staff was also wonderful, seeing a mom with 2 kids fumbling to get the stroller out, kids, coats and grocery bags. They helped carry my bags all the way to the elevator. I was very grateful and tipped them. The valet waved off the tip, but I insisted. But what a nice man just being a nice guy.

I've stayed at many Hiltons and my stays have always been pleasant. However, the Hilton Austin went beyond pleasant and offered unprecedented customer service! Not only was I greeted with respect and kindness but so was my therapy dog. They even remembered his name and had a treats for him! We were treated like royalty (I'm not) and could not be more happy with our stay. I will be writing Hilton to express my gratitude for the amazing staff at Hilton Austin!

Needs better parking for shows with large crowd draws, like the Macklemore/Ryan Lewis show my husband and I are attending tonight, but it didn't hurt me to walk. It was a good night for it! Employees are incredibly kind and helpful, even if they do need to keep their political opinions to themselves (I got a snide comment from an employee on my Bernie Sanders shirt. ).

The interaction level for kids is great and the walk through the museum is enjoyable. We saw two movies and I was impressed at the details and layout of the film as well as how well it kept the kids and adults engaged. The museum is meticulously well kept and a pleasure to visit.

Not the kinda place you wanna go when your in a hurry.Fun to wall all the inclines, sidewalks and go into the lookout points,they even have water falling into a pond.A wooden bridge to cross a rock path to go around the Coy fish and multitudes of flowering plants and bushes.♡♡♡♡♡

I love auditorium shores always have I miss all the concerts really bad ..a lot has changed but it's all good I still love it there .I went and Sat by the river on a rock when ever I needed some alone time ,that spots not there anymore.oh well Memories.

We had my daughter's 2nd birthday party at the Thinkery this past weekend and I just wanted to share our experience and rave about them because they did such a phenomenal job. We booked the "Mini Masterpieces" party for 0-4-year-olds. When we arrived, they had the room set up and ready to go with the exception of any food, party favors, beverages, and cake/cupcakes we wanted to bring. We could have added more decor, but I'm glad that I didn't even worry about it. It wasn't necessary. They provided a cart for us to transfer everything upstairs and helped us with anything we needed. They had a huge chalkboard down at kid height covered in chalk with bowls of water and paintbrushes for them to "paint" and see what happened to the chalk as children began to arrive. It seems like the simplest activity, but they had so, so much fun and the educator for our party, Elizabeth, sat directly on the floor and helped guide them, talked to them, and drew for them on the chalkboard. She was amazing! I forget the order that everything happened, but they did two different paintings, story time, and played with a giant parachute in the room. They really kept the activities flowing from one thing to another which meant that the kids' attention was captured and parents could mingle and talk without feeling like they were constantly on the lookout for their kiddos. We had food out for people to graze as they wanted to, did "Happy birthday," and then chose to let the kids have some time to explore and play in the museum. Many of our guests hadn't been there before and I preferred they got to play instead of watching E open her gifts. The kiddos (2 and up because 2 and under are free) were given a pass to return back to the Thinkery anytime within the next year. It was a fun little bonus to be able to give the parents. I absolutely could not have been more pleased. I'm currently almost 38 weeks pregnant and felt so carefree and not stressed about anything party-related or overwhelmed while I was there.

When The Domain first went up, I was skeptical. Walking through it felt like walking in a movie set. It seemed forced. A husband and two kids later, I love it. We all do. Lots of stores for husband and me, family-friendly restaurants, and space for little ones run and jump. We can easily spend an entire evening wandering together or tag-team watching the kids while the other visits a shop solo. Phase 2 now has that huge covered performance space and slides. Frozen yogurt, a visit to the toy store, a train ride, and running under an awning like a lunatic never disappoints.

I love my Barton creek mall but the people who run the kiosk booths are way too pushy and should be more considerate of those who are shopping with young children, their parents don't have the time to sit in your chair and listen for 10 minutes to someone trying to sell them expensive creams or straighteners.
