Pat Sajak is taking one last spin on “Wheel of Fortune,” announcing Monday that its upcoming season will be his last as host.
Sajak, 76, has presided over the game show since 1981
All they do is expect other people to step out of their political comfort zone in pursuit of Trump's defeat but none of them are willing to set a single foot outside of their own.
The NeverTrump crowd know that there is a viable alternative Republican candidate that they could "join hands" to help beat Trump in the primary, but instead they rule him just as bad, focus on candidates polling at 1%, and then question others' commitment to defeating Trump.
Until the Republicans who say that Trump is an existential a threat to our democracy are also ready to say that they'd be willing to join hands with a Democratic nominee to stop him, they're either not serious about what a threat he is or they're not serious about stopping him.
Treat Williams, the versatile actor who starred as a New York City neurosurgeon on the WB series 'Everwood' and in films 'Prince of the City' and 'Hair,' died Monday in a motorcycle accident. He was 71 http://thr.cm/ih8HYGo

Nikki Haley on Fox just now says if the charges against Trump are true, "Trump was incredibly reckless with our national security."
Before the indictment was unsealed Haley argued it was "prosecutorial overreach" and "vendetta politics."
Dear Prudie: I'm a teacher who reported someone stealing the food-- that I bought for the children-- from my desk at school. The school set up a hidden camera, and caught the janitor, who they fired. Was I wrong?
Slate: Yes, you are terrible person.

Jerry's being kind; when as an att'y you realize your client has tried to get you to make false representations, that's one thing; when your client is the former President & he's trying to get you to lie to the FBI about him holding onto Top Secret war plans...I'm going on CNN.
deeply bizarre to see an attorney who represented Trump in this very matter (and testified before the grand jury about it) giving an interview critiquing his former client twitter.com/rgoodlaw/statu…
Depressing to see how common dissatisfaction is with the ending of Across the Spider-Verse. I just don't get why ending mid-conflict is inferior to some half baked internal resolution if you're telling a larger story.
Still, most GOP primary voters do not want to hear Trump himself talk about the legal cases and investigations against him, nor about what happened in the 2020 election.
They’d rather him talk about the present or future: his plans for the country now.

“This idea of presenting Trump as a victim of a witch hunt is ridiculous. Yes, he's been a victim in the past. Yes, his adversaries have obsessively pursued him with phony claims,” Barr adds. “But this is much different. He's not a victim here. He was totally wrong.”
.@NICKMERCS has been my friend for years- we went in getting our CoD operators together.
It feels wrong for me to have mine and him no longer have his. In support of my friend, please remove the timthetatman bundle

Ron DeSantis should immediately use his power as Governor of Florida to turn back time to the moment before Trump said on tape that he was doing crimes so that Trump can instead not say on tape that he was doing crimes.
Tears of The Kingdom is rocking my world. But there is one tiny part of it that irks me... too often, I feel like I'm cheating. I feel like I'm missing the "intended" method of doing things. Although... that might also be the point. Let's talk about it.

One weird thing about It Takes Two is that it has the presentation of a game for kids (the sappy dialogue and tone, the art style, etc.) but it isn't, so suddenly they'll just drop a "shit" and it feels odd.
The question of whether Trump should have kept those documents is fundamentally a political question. Criticize it, attack it, vote against it. But prosecuting a president over his own government’s documents is turning a political issue into a legal one.
It's one thing to say the name-changing trend is needlessly disruptive, overkill & no one associates a lot of names with their origin anyway; it's another thing to change one back that reminds everyone how terrible the namesake really was & makes it look like you are sympathetic.
DESANTIS: "I also look forward to, as President, restoring the name of FORT BRAGG to our great military base in Fayetteville, North Carolina... It's an iconic name and iconic base, and we're not gonna let political correctness run amok."

I've been getting reports that the Marvel 616 series, which included the documentary on Japanese Spider-Man that we covered on VH Extra, has been removed from Disney+.
No word on whether or not it will resurface anywhere, but in the meantime, it's a damn shame.
