We're now around a week a few months in since opening our official Discord, and we've had the misfortune pleasure of playing host to almost 300 1,500 r/Ireland users looking for something new to distract them from the tasks they should be doing at work.

If you haven't used Discord before, it's basically IRC for {current_generation}. If you haven't used IRC before, congratulations, you've still got some youth left in you.

Discord is generally a far more relaxed place to hang about and chat with people, rather than being a more stringent content-feed as Reddit is. With that in mind, general sub rules (i.e: No racism/hate speech) still apply on there.
