Welcome to the third annual edition of the ten most popular web fonts of the year as featured on Typewolf. Based on font usage data from 365 websites featured over 2015, these are the ten fonts that were used the most often. You can check out the previous year’s lists for 2014 and 2013 as well.
I first encountered TEFF Lexicon when type designer Kris Sowersby chose it as one of his top three favorite fonts. Having never heard of Lexicon or TEFF (the foundry that released Lexicon), I decided to do a bit of Googling around. I discovered a very beautiful typeface, but was a bit taken aback by the price — $391 for a single cut or $4,996 for the complete family.
