Stand With Us was founded in 2001 in response to the misinformation that surrounds the Middle East conflict, and the inappropriate often anti-Semitic language used about Israel and/or the Jewish people worldwide. StandWithUs has offices and chapters around the world and is dedicated to empowering Israel supporters with a wide variety of materials, resources and tools in order to be able to effectively combat the growing anti-Israel campaigns and speakers. ▸

Always follow your dreams: For 10 years, Alisa Sheldon couldn't shake her dream of moving to Israel and serving in the IDF as a combat soldier. Two months ago she realized that dream, joining the ranks of the Lions of the Jordan Valley Battalion.

On Saturday, the 25-year-old Sheldon stood at attention with her male and female comrades, swearing their allegiance to the IDF and the State of Israel.

Zionism wins the day!

After months of preparations and after discussions between Israel’s permanent mission to the UN and the UN, the latter approved the showing of an exhibition on Israel (StandWithUs’ Israel Matters Display) to be shown at different times in the course of April and May 2016.

However, shortly before the exhibition was due to open, the Israeli representatives were informed that three panels would not be permitted as part of the Israeli exhibit: Arab Israelis, Jerusalem, and Zionism. The UN has since allowed the exhibit to include the "Zionism" panel.

Thankfully, and after many efforts put in by StandWithUs New York and Israel’s Mission to the UN, they are including the panels initially censored, including on Zionism, the national liberation movement of the Jewish people which led to the return of the indigenous people of Israel to their ancestral homeland.
