The underlying cause of this service interruption has been addressed. All affected Acquia services have been restored, though affected sites may still see a brief delay as task requests are processed. All services are operational at this time.

Update -
We are currently investigating an interruption in self service SSL services. During this time, customers with affected sites will be unable to edit or create new ELBs using Acquia Self Service SSL option. We will provide additional information as it becomes available.
Customers with sites on Acquia Cloud Free and Acquia Cloud Professional are unable to launch new sites at this time. Additionally, customers with Acquia Cloud Professional sites cannot currently upsize their existing sites.
No active sites or unaltered ELBs are currently impacted. We will provide additional information as it becomes available.
