His way was not as I expected. There were no personnel miracles, visions, in fact there is no religion involved at all, it is a way of life where Christ Jesus becomes the head in our spiritual life and influences our physical life so that we become one with God's Spirit. Our Lord plants his fruit trees in us once we accept Him, so that we can produce fruit that honors God and ourselves in every way of our life. Some of these rich fruits that grow in our body with the help of God are love, joy, patience, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Our worldly life does not want God's fruit we fight against it and avoid this type of life because it goes against our will and our will is to survive! We think, because society is not like this they will take advantage of us. But our Lord plants a tree of power within us not weakness, this power is for life, this power is for justice etc. He does not give us a timid spirit that waits to be slapped on the cheek then we offer the other cheek as well. No, he gives us a spirit of power that can take control that can say with a strong voice what is right and wrong.
There is nothing else that matters in our life accept the will to find our way back to God where we come from and Christ Jesus provided us with this opportunity by giving us the freedom of choice by accepting the free gift that is provided by God, our Father. That gift was in Adam as well, he did not ask for it, it was given to him so that he could nurture and live by it, i.e. God's grace. But he rejected that gift and for that foolish mistake he made, we his children had to suffer and follow the same way as our forefathers. We are still rejecting God because he and Eve thought they knew better. By not having grace, which is that free gift from God, we fell out of favor with God because we rejected Him. He gave us the ten commandments to bring us back into favor with Him, but we rejected those commandments as well. As can be seen, the proof is before our eyes, the earth is in turmoil.
Now He has given us grace, to the individual, you and me have to choose, do we accept our Great God's gift and follow the second Adam, Jesus Christ, which will bring us back into favor [grace] with God i.e. do we choose life, by accepting God's grace, or death, rejecting His favor.
There is life after death.
