3: 21 or 22 Nov 2015? I'm thinking this based on your twitter, which says you participated in on these dates in the area

- behind the left crane: a white T over blue background and 2 more words - might be related to the flags - on the building further back: a sign starting with A (blue letter over white background)

I googled different strings with “exile” , “newspaper”, “founded 1998”, “returns” in them, and limited results to 2012-2013

I have a strong candidate (mentioned in this article: ) but I can't find photo evidence yet despite several search strategies - does anyone have hints on how to follow up?

False. I was wondering why the EC would have a "German" office in Brussels, so I looked the other way around: where does the EC have offices in Germany? A few places, with the Bonn office being in the building on your pic: streetview/other pics confirm it

1) It's on Estacion Canfranc in Spain - I reverse searched the image, found some similar trains at Canfranc and found this one on several sites (eg. ) 2) Wikipedia: only 2 trains per day run, to Zaragoza-Delicias, Renfe site confirms, price is EUR 16,90

i was reverse image searching, with narrowing down the date filter as much as I could... but couldn’t get a match before 2010. sometimes the simpler way is better 😅

great puzzle though! I thought it'd take 15 mins, but turned out to be a lot more tricky :)

ah I see the good one now in other replies. I only checked European flights around that time, thinking that because of PH-BGO, yours must be another Schengen flight from the same bridge...

second stock photo reveals another graffiti ("100") -> yandex reversed the "100" graffiti -> found blog post mentioning the location as Vila 100 restaurant -> vila 100 is now closed, but foursquare shows the location anyways :)

here we go: Google: "boat graffiti tirana" -> found stock photo with different angle showing another graffiti: -> on another pic you see the thing from the other side ->

i mean, my assumption was already that this is the flight, but wanted a photo to confirm, so looked at flightradar to see the exact departure gate and looked for a nearby photo

when you replay the specific flight on flightradar24, you see which exact gate the plane departed from - then on Google maps I pulled the streetview figure to this area, to find this pic at a nearby gate

from the comments below I figured you flew out of Berlin in the previous days, early morning or night (darkness). Assuming you went somewhere for more than just 1 night I checked on Flightradar24 where EI-DWF went in the morning, and cross-checked with a potential return flight
